Meet the Team

Robyn Riggans - Founder and CEO

Robyn birthed WORTH due to her personal experience of domestic abuse and the many women she came across as she journeyed through life.
Robyn turned her passion and skills, supporting and walking alongside women on their healing journeys, into a reality. WORTH continues to grow and support more women to move forward post abuse.
Trustees

Chair of Trustees
My name is Jilly, I’m a Chesterfield lass and I’m passionate about the work of WORTH.
I have personally experienced the historical power men claim over women, and so I am adding my voice in making a difference for all women, to reclaim empowerment, self-belief, self-love, and self-worth.

Secretary
My name is Pam and I have been involved with WORTH as a volunteer for 3 years before becoming a member of our trustee board in January 2020.

Prior to this, I worked for Derbyshire Youth Service for 30 years. Much of my work involved supporting girls and young women to grow in confidence and achieve their goals.

Since retirement, I have volunteered on a church project called Making a Difference, for 10 years, which aimed to support individuals and groups who were disadvantaged.

Treasurer
My name is Louise, I have volunteered in this role for over five years. I do this because I have seen the wonderful work that WORTH does with women in my community. I have met some of the women and heard personal testimony of how their confidence and sense of their own personal worth has grown.
I hope that in some way my work for the charity will enable more women who have suffered domestic abuse to be helped in this way.

Trustee
Hello, I'm Maddy and I have been a Trustee since early 2021 helping with the digital and communications side of WORTH. In my day job, I work in Communications and Press Relations.

Domestic abuse is an issue I feel very strongly about. I am passionate about supporting all women and helping them to see their worth as well as improving the understanding and awareness of domestic abuse in wider society.
