Writing is a great way to express thoughts and emotions. Writing for wellbeing is therapeutic in nature, it can be full of reflection, self-discovery, resilience, perspective, confidence and growth.
We explore different styles of writing and the benefits that each offer.
At WORTH, many women have found that the process of writing in these sessions has given them their 'voice' back. Clients have bravely shared their stories through writing as part of their healing journey.
Poetry is another great way many of our clients can express their situations and experiences. We use this time to explore our feelings and develop stronger self-awareness.
Our women have a range of literacy abilities and we cater for all. You do not need to have writing experience, writing for wellbeing is accessible to everyone.
